Russia Business Visa

All Non-Russian Intel business travelers to Russia (except for some countries of the former Soviet Union) must obtain a Business Visa. Traveling to Russia on business with a Tourist visa is a violation of the Russian Federation Immigration Law and may result in deportation.

PROCEDURE:

1. Prior to applying for a business visa you should obtain an official Letter of Invitation issued by the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs on behalf of Intel Russia.

The company VFBS (Vista Foreign Business Support), a separate Intel-approved supplier for the Russia inbound immigration support, is responsible for processing all applications for Business Letters of Invitation. To get the invite letter, please click here.

Visa Network is not allowed to assist in getting this invite letter for you. If you have any questions please contact the Russian Intel accounts manager at intel@vfbs.ru or your host person at Intel Russia.

2. Upon receipt of the Invitation Letter you can apply for a Russian business visa using Visa Network. You will need to send the following documents to our San Francisco office:

  • Current valid passport:
    1. Must have at least 2 blank "visa" pages that face each other.
    2. Must be valid for at least 6 months after departure date from Russia.
    3. Passport must be signed!
  • 1 passport photo, 2 x 2 color photograph, face front; on a white background
  • Application; must be completed Online, printed and signed (Read Helpful Tips section carefully)
  • Original Business Invitation Letter
  • Visa Network Order Form (provide your password and application #  on the space provided)
  • For all Non-US passport holders:
    • Copy of US status, front and back
    • Copy of travel health insurance card, front and back
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (IF APPLICABLE)

For former citizens of the USSR:

Must provide documentation that you no longer possess Russian citizenship, such as:

  • Copy of USSR passport with a stamp stating you left for "permanent residence abroad", dated prior to February 6, 1992;
  • Or a copy of a "Visa to Israel" issued prior to February 6, 1992;
  • Or a copy of a Certificate of Naturalization issued prior to 1996;
  • Or a document confirming the renunciation of your Russian citizenship;
  • Or a copy of the main pages of a passport of a former USSR state, issued after February 1992;
  • Or a written statement of explanation, in the case that you have no documentation.

Australian citizens must provide a detailed autobiography in Russian.

Important!
A new template for the migration card has been implemented for Russia. Unfortunately, it is available only in Russian, however there are some English comments to assist you in completing this card. Please click the link below to view the migration card. Intel travellers are advised to state COMMERCE under the "Purpose of Visit" section.
